Matty Ros, also known as Spacebeest and Shamatty, is a Dutch multidisciplinary musician, sound artist and life artist. Active since the age of thirteen, he has been a driving force in underground music, experimental art and live improvisation for decades.

As Spacebeest, Matty Ros performs fully improvised, high-energy live sets using drum machines, space-drenched guitars, synthesizers, vocal effects and found sound objects. Everything is created 100% live, moving freely between psychedelic songs, baritone and 12-string guitar work, Steve Vai–style guitar explosions, brutal TEKNO (with a K) and raw noise.

Spacebeest runs his own YouTube channel, where he regularly performs live improvised studio shows. With 100+ live sessions online, the channel documents his raw, real-time approach to composition, looping, rhythm and sonic experimentation.

In addition, he hosts a monthly live radio show, Spacebeest Extravaganza, broadcast on Radio Tonka on the last Sunday of every month. The show focuses on live electronic noise, improvisation and sonic exploration, and is later available as a podcast via Mixcloud.

He has performed at Ruigoord, Landjuweel, Klub Laak and numerous noise and art festivals. At Ruigoord, his performance traditionally serves as the explosive finale of the annual Beeldenroute.

Alongside music, Matty Ros is a prolific visual artist and works as Shamatty the Tuning Fork Healer, offering sound-healing sessions using vibration and personalized sonic experiences.
